Stopping, restarting, and configuring the AutoAction daemon
Unravel AutoActions is managed by the AutoAction daemon, unravel_aa
, which you can stop, restart, and configure.
There are no restrictions and the daemon can be stopped and started at any time. Upon restart, it synchronizes with the metric stream automatically and will continue to process data and enforce AutoAction policies. Stopping/starting or restarting the daemon may cause some data loss though and some violation events may be missed.
You may want to stop the daemon if you don't want to use AutoActions or if they aren't supported for your platform. Currently, AutoActions is supported for every platform except Unravel for Azure Databricks.
